The British Sub-Aqua Club (BSAC) have been offering training programmes since it was established in the 1950s. The qualifications are regularly updated to ensure that they continue to be fit for purpose. It is based on increasing diver confidence and knowledge at the diver’s own pace, whilst maintaining high safety standards at all times.
Students begin by learning skills in the pool at Ellon Community Campus and completing theory lessons before going into the open water, and are well looked after by our instructors at all times.
Within ESAC we have a number of volunteer instructors who are able to offer training at all levels, including technical diving. There are also a number of Skill Development Courses run throughout the year for all members
